Telecom Infrastructure Software
Supplies next-Telecom Infrastructure Software. Supplies next-generation converged messaging applications, a service delivery platform, and value-added services such as audio and video ring-back tones, location-based services, and video mail. Sells their highly integrated and scalable platform to tier 2 and tier 3 telecom operators striving to capitalize on the convergence of wireless, land-line, and Internet IP networks. Based in the Northeastern U.S. with a high percent of revenues in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Experienced management team seeks $10-20 million in growth equity to expand revenue generation and product development capacity while considering opportunistic acquisitions in key target markets. This company, specializes in the sale of salads, meats, and other specialty products to convenience stores, grocery stores and other specialty retailers.  2009 sales are expected to be about $18 million with EBITDA of $1.4 million.  Gross margins on the salad product line are in the mid- to high-forties.  New growth has been constrained by the lack of production capacity;  the company recently added a 30K sq ft. production facility and has significant growth opportunities to expand regionally.

Alternative Energy Infrastructure Consolidation
This company currently manufactures large scale metal fabricated and precision machined components and equipment used in the alternative energy, medical, nuclear, defense, industrial and aerospace markets.  The company is currently publically traded with 2008 sales of $31.8 million and EBITDA of $6.9 million.  Management believes the global downturn has created an opportunity to acquire complementary product lines with distribution and engineering synergies.  The company is contemplating a going private transaction and is seeking a private equity partner to maximize value by combining this transaction with the company's strategic acquisition growth strategy.

With 12 locations across the country this company supplies leading, brand name products to the commercial, institutional, retail and residential construction markets.  The company had sales of $80M. The current market provides an excellent opportunity to play out a consolidation strategy in this industry.  One add-on has been identified that would increase sales by $50M. There is an experienced industry executive who is committed to running the company.  Both bank and subordinated debt is in place but a small equity investment is needed to complete the transaction.
